Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center: Your In-Network Choice with Anthem BCBS and More

With recent news about potential changes between Mercy Health and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), many patients are reaching out with questions about their insurance coverage. While these changes are still under negotiation and expected to take effect in 2025 (if they occur at all), we want to clarify how this impacts you at Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center.

We Remain In-Network with Anthem BCBS

Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center continues to be in-network with most Anthem BCBS plans, including:

  • Commercial plans
  • Medicare Advantage
  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace plans
  • HealthLink (under the Anthem BCBS umbrella)

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

In addition to being in-network with Anthem BCBS, we also accept all insurance plans that are covered by Mercy Health, Freeman Health Care, and CoxHealth. This means that regardless of any changes happening with Mercy and Anthem, you can continue to receive care at our clinic with your existing insurance.

Independent Clinic Status

Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center is an independent clinic, separate from Mercy Health. We have always operated independently and will continue to provide high-quality, personalized care without interruption. The potential changes between Mercy and Anthem do not affect our network status or your coverage with us.

What This Means for You

If you have Anthem BCBS or any other insurance plan accepted by Mercy, Freeman, or CoxHealth, you can continue to visit us for your foot and ankle care without any disruption. We’re here to ensure that your care remains seamless and worry-free.

If you have any questions or need assistance with your insurance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office. We’re dedicated to making sure you get the care you need, regardless of changes in the broader healthcare landscape.
