Haste, DPM, a skilled and experienced Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgeon who has been serving patients in the Joplin area for over 20 years. Known for his commitment to patient-centered care and surgical excellence, Dr. Haste continues to be a trusted provider for individuals seeking lasting relief from foot and ankle conditions.
Education & Military Service
Dr. Haste is originally from Illinois and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and History from East Tennessee State University. While serving in the United States Army Reserves, he was awarded the prestigious Green to Gold Scholarship, a program that supports outstanding soldiers in pursuing higher education and leadership development.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa, where he also completed his surgical residency training.
Clinical Experience & Hospital Affiliations
Since moving to Missouri in 2000, Dr. Haste has dedicated his career to improving foot and ankle health for patients across the Four-State Area. With over two decades of hands-on experience, he provides comprehensive care for everything from routine podiatric concerns to complex surgical cases.
He holds hospital privileges at Mercy Hospital Joplin, Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Surgical Center, and 32nd Street Surgery Center, where he also serves as a part-owner.

Dr. Haste is known for his compassionate, individualized approach to podiatric care. Whether addressing chronic pain, sports injuries, diabetic foot complications, or structural deformities, he works closely with each patient to create a treatment plan that reflects their unique needs and goals.
