Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center is proud to welcome Lucas S. Tebbe, DPM, AACFAS. Whether it is a medical or surgical treatment of the foot or ankle, we are confident he can meet our patients’ needs. As a doctor of podiatric medicine, he prides himself on keeping patients of all ages pain-free and on the move.
Dr. Tebbe is a Missouri native and first-team all-state in baseball. He graduated valedictorian from Walnut Grove High School. He continued his education at Drury University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in both biology and chemistry. During that time, he logged over 500 research hours and co-authored several studies that were published in peer-reviewed journals. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa.
Dr. Tebbe completed his three-year residency at University Health Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This program provides excellent, well-rounded training in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery, reconstructive techniques, and wound care. He also obtained non-podiatric experiences in vascular, general surgery, internal medicine, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine.
After residency, Dr. Tebbe moved back home and began his professional career here at Shoal Creek Foot & Ankle Center – Springfield Clinic.
Dr. Tebbe is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He will have privileges at Mercy Hospital Springfield, Mercy Surgery Center Springfield, and Cox Medical Center South.
